A new online MBA program will be launched by The Western Illinois University College of Business and Technology beginning Fall 2014.
The business school which previously offered some courses online will make the entire program available online. The curriculum is the same as the on-campus program and will have the same content taught by the same faculty.
Each course is offered alternatively on-campus and online. So, participants can take courses in either format to complete the degree.
"Location is no longer a constraint for students as they now have access to the entire degree program via distance learning," said WIU CBT Interim Associate Dean and MBA Director William Polley. "This is also attractive for students who begin the program in either Macomb or the Quad Cities, but are unable to finish the degree in-person because of a family move or job transfer."
Western Illinois University is accredited AACSB International and is located in Macomb, 77 miles from the Quad Cities, Illinois.
