The Ecole Des Ponts Business School, was established in 1987 as the ENPC School of International Management also known as ENPC MBA Paris.

It is part of Ecole des Ponts - Paris Tech, formerly ENPC - Paris Tech (Ecole National des Ponts et Chaussées), one of the France's oldest engineering school and Grande Ecole. Previously located in downtown Paris, the main campus moved to the Eastern suburb of Paris in Champs-sur-Marne in 2014.

Deanship

Célia Russo was head of the ENPC's Language Department when she founded the school. She became dean of Ecole Des Ponts from 1987 until she passed away in 1999. Michel Fender succeeded Russo and was joined two years later by Tawfik Jelassi who was appointed co-dean. Jelassi was named Dean after Fender stepped down from his role in 2004. Alon Rozen, Associate Professor of Innovation and Management and Ecole Des Ponts alumnus, succeeded Jelassi in 2016.

Partnerships

In 1998, ENPC launched an MBA program in Casablanca, Morocco, in collaboration with Ecole Hassania des Travaux Publics (EHTP). One year later, the school launched the Tongji-ENPC MBA program in Shanghai in conjunction with the French-Chinese Institute for Engineering and Management (IFCIM) and Tongji University.

In 2004, ENPC joined ParisTech, a consortium of 11 eleven top engineering schools.

Three years later, ENPC School of International Management joined forces with the Fox School of Business at Temple University to offer an Executive MBA.

In 2013, the school partnered with Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management to offer the Solvay-Ponts MBA, a management program in which course is split between Brussels and Paris.

Rankings

The school was listed in the Top 100 European Business Schools from 2002 to 2004 by the Financial Times.

Since FT changed its ranking criteria in 2005, Ecole Des Ponts was no longer ranked on the list due to its "Visiting Faculty model".
