A program that starts in August of each year and spans two academic years on the Penn State University Park campus in State College, Pennsylvania. Each MBA semester is divided into seven-week modules.

Executive MBA

Executive MBA program

 Lafayette Hill

17-month program run on alternating weekends in metropolitan Philadelphia. It features two six-day residencies, each taking place at the start of the first and second year, as well as one 3-day weekend on the Penn State University Park campus.

  • Twice Monthly
  • Typical classes are held at the Chubb Hotel & Conference Center in Lafayette Hill, Pennsylvania and begin at 1:30 p.m. on Friday afternoons and conclude at 5:15 p.m. on Saturdays with an overnight stay in between.

  • Hold either a baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited U.S. institution or a tertiary (postsecondary) degree that is deemed comparable to a four-year bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited U.S. institution. This degree must be from an officially recognized degree-granting institution in the country in which it operates.

A four-year program in which students typically begin the first year of study at one of Penn State's two law schools: Dickinson Law in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, or Penn State Law on the University Park campus.


Courses are taught in English.

MD/MBA

Dual program

 State College

A five-year program in which students spend the first three years on coursework within the College of Medicine at the Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania. Students begin Smeal MBA coursework at University Park in year four, before concluding with a combination of MD and MBA coursework at Smeal and clinical rotations in year five.
