Two business schools join forces to launch a dual MBA degree starting in October 2015.
The Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College-City University of New York (CUNY) and the College of Management Academic Studies (COMAS) in Israel offer a joint degree program with an emphasis on entrepreneurship and finance.
"This innovative program has been launched as part of Baruch College’s global initiatives to provide students with a globally oriented curriculum," said Dr. H. Fenwick Huss, Dean of the Zicklin School of Business. "I am confident that this dual degree program will give our students competitive global competencies and will add to the value of their degree."
Students will spend three semesters in Israel. Classes meet twice a week on Monday afternoon-evening and Friday morning. During the Summer term, they will spend four intensive weeks at the Zicklin campus in Manhattan, NYC. Courses will be taught in English by the faculty of both schools.
Upon completion of the program, students will receive an MBA degree from Baruch College-CUNY and an MBA degree from COMAS. Eligible applicants must have an undergraduate degree with at least a B average and four years of work experience. Additionally, sponsorship from the current employer, demonstration of English proficiency and at least two recommendations are required.
