Brown University and IE Business School to Launch a Joint EMBA

The Brown University in Rhode Island and the IE Business School in Spain has announced to offer a joint Executive MBA.

Brown University has already collaborated with IE Business school since 2011 on an Executive MBA. They will now offer a joint IE-Brown Executive MBA conferred by the two business schools. The program will be taught by professors from both institutions and targets executives who want to deeper understand management and the complex factors that mediate success. The 15-month curriculum combines online learning, residential sessions in Providence and Madrid and a study trip in Cape Town, South Africa. It's the first time that Brown University will offer an MBA program. Students of 2016 class will be the first to earn the joint degree.

"The IE Brown Executive M.B.A. is a revolutionary program at the intersection of management and humanities, which provides managers with a global, humanistic vision of management focused on value creation, innovation, and sustainability," said Santiago Iñiguez, dean of IE Business School. "Graduates of the multidisciplinary program are, and will continue to be, change agents capable of great impact in their organizations."
