The Miami University's Farmer School of Business in Ohio will offer a shortened version of its MBA program in Cincinnati starting in January 2016.
The mini-MBA program is open to any working professional who want to gain knowledge in business foundations regardless of their educational background. It consists of a series of graduate-level courses covering various aspects of general business such as marketing, finance, strategy, or leadership.
Classes meet one evening a week from 6-9:30 p.m. for 14 weeks at the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber offices and culminates in a business case. Courses employ a combination of lectures, case discussions and application exercises.
Cost of the program is $3,000 and includes course materials as well as a light meal before each session. Furthermore, it can be credited towards the full MBA tuition if the student decides to pursue the Miami MBA in West Chester Township within five years after completing the mini-MBA.
