The Syracuse University's Martin J. Whitman School of Management and 2U, Inc, a technology firm that delivers online degree programs for colleges and universities has announced their partnership to enhance the Syracuse's online iMBA.
The new version of the iMBA will be renamed « MBA@Syracuse » and will combine 2U's learning technology and the features of the current program. The curriculum is the same as the on-campus program and includes weekly face-to-face sessions taught by Whitman faculty and online content featuring high-quality videos, quizzes, learning modules and other interactive multimedia. The online learning platform can be accessed either online or offline on mobile apps.
Participants are required to complete 54 credits in 12-week-long semesters and will continue to attend residencies in cities that are major centers of international business including the Syracuse's campus in Central New York for students to develop a connection to the university.
Applications for MBA@Syracuse will be accepted in June for the first intake starting in January 2015. The program is accredited AACSB International.
