The University of Maine has redesigned its MBA to offer the program in a blended and online delivery format.
Students of the Essential MBA will be able to complete the program either entirely online or on-campus in a blended format. Though not all courses will be available immediately online this Fall, the university plans to offer the entire curriculum online by Fall 2016. Online courses will be the same as the courses taught on campus.
Concentrations in Accounting, Business & Sustainability, Management, Finance, International Business will no longer be offered as the Essential MBA is a general program. Only 30 credits hour are required to earn the degree compared to 39 credits in the previous version.
Students of the University of Maine School of Law's Juris Doctorate program can combine their degree with the MBA and reduce the time to complete both programs from five years to four years.
