The University of San Diego School of Business Administration will offer a new customized MBA program for corporate counsel and in-house attorneys.

The curriculum includes courses in accouting, finance and marketing, mergers and acquistions and was designed to meet the needs of professionals working in the legal industry.

"Corporate counsel already plays a key role in their firm's growth and success," said Christina de Vaca, program director. "Our program positions them for even greater opportunities and leadership roles in private and publicly traded companies as well as in areas of consulting and entrepreneurship."

Students will meet one weekend per month for 16 months. Eligible candidates must hold a J.D., have at least five years of experience in the corporate counsel and have been admitted to a state bar association. Tuition fees are $49,980 for the entire program.
