The University of Texas at Tyler expands its online MBA program with the launch of a new MBA with a focus on marketing.
The program will have six start dates each year and is offered in a one-year, accelerated format. All courses of the 36-hour curriculum can be completed online without setting foot on campus and will focus on services marketing.
"This program is designed to position our graduates to be relevant in the service-driven economy," said Krist Swimberghe, Chair of the Department of Management and Marketing and Associate Professor of Marketing at UT Tyler's College of Business and Technology. "Our students will be exposed to a tool kit that allows them to take advantage of career opportunities in diverse industries ranging from healthcare and hospitality to banking and retailing."
The program already offers an MBA concentration in healthcare management.
