The Yale School of Public Health will be able to offer a new accelerated format of the MBA/MPH joint degree.
The program offered in partnership with Yale School of Management can be completed in 22 months instead of 34 months (three academic years).
"Even in the past two weeks, I've seen the difference that being in this program at Yale will make in advancing my career goal of being a practicing physician and ultimately leading a hospital system," said Divya Srinivasan, a 2013 graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology who has experience working in hospital management consulting and pharmaceuticals.
"We are tremendously excited to welcome this talented and experienced group of health care professionals," said Howard Forman, M.D., professor of diagnostic radiology and health policy and director of the Health Care Management Program at the Yale School of Public Health. "They represent the future of health care management and leadership, and we are proud to be a part of their career development and education.
