Classes generally meet for a weeklong retreat on campus at the beginning of each semester. The remainder of the semester is taught on-line through web conferences, recorded lectures, discussion boards, and group assignments.
Students can choose to have face-to-face classes, online classes, or a mixture of each.
Classes are offered on alternate Saturdays at the PVAMU Northwest Houston Center in Northwest Houston. Two courses are offered each semester in eight-week sessions.
Most courses are held at the Woodlands Center on evenings.
