Cornell-Tsinghua MBA/FMBA

Part-time program

 75% of the program will be delivered in China (Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen). The remaining 25% of the program will be delivered in New York City and/or Ithaca, NY.

A bilingual, dual degree program offered by Johnson at Cornell University and Tsinghua University's PBC School of Finance. Approximatively 75% of the program will be delivered in China in Beijing with some classes in Shanghai, Shenzhen and Hong Kong. The remaining approximate 25% of the program will be delivered in Ithaca, NY and/or New York City.

Executive MBA Metro NY

Executive MBA program

Following each week in residence, the program meets every other weekend at HNA Palisades. Weekend classes run all day Saturday and until noon on Sunday. There are no Friday class sessions. Round-trip shuttle service is available between Manhattan and Palisades. Over the course of the program, students spend four weeks on the Cornell campus in Ithaca, NY. Graduates earn the degree in 22 months.

Executive MBA program

A dual degree program offered in partnership with Queen's University in Canada launched in 2005. Previously known as "Cornell-Queen’s Executive MBA", the program has been renamed in 2015 "Executive MBA Americas" and has expanded into Latin America. Approximately 60% of the classes are held every other weekend at at a designated boardroom location across North America. The remaining classes are delivered during three residential sessions that vary from 7 to 15 days in length. These sessions are held at the beginning, middle, and end of the program, and vary in length. During residential sessions, students have the opportunity to spend time on the Cornell and Queen’s campuses, with students from various boardroom locations. Upon completion of the coursework, students earn two MBAs: one from Cornell University and one from Queen’s University.

  • Application to Johnson during the fall semester of the junior year
  • Completion of all the requirements for the undergraduate major by the end of the junior year
  • Completion of the MBA core courses during the senior year as free electives of the bachelor's program
  • Earn two residency units at Johnson by registering as a full time student at Johnson after graduating from your undergraduate college
  • Successfully complete at least 30 credit hours of graduate level coursework, including a minimum of 25 credit hours of Johnson electives
  • Maintain a GPA of 2.50 or better in Johnson core courses and an overall GPA of 2.70 or better in Johnson courses
